- Where does my old stuff actually go?
- Whatever's still usable we either resell at our LSD warehouse on Jackson Bluff Road or donate to local charities — Goodwill, Habitat ReStore, and other Tallahassee nonprofits. Only true junk gets trashed. The trade is straightforward: you skip the dump fee and we keep good stuff out of the landfill — no charge to you.
- How fast can you pick up?
- Usually within 24–48 hours of your call. During FSU and FAMU move-out weeks (late April and early August) we book up fast, so call as early as you can — even a week or two ahead is fine, we'll put you on the schedule.
- What do you take?
- Appliances (fridges, washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers, microwaves), furniture (couches, mattresses, beds, dressers, tables, chairs, desks), electronics (TVs, monitors, computers), office furniture, yard junk, and full move-out cleanouts. Working or not — both are fine.
- What can't you take?
- We can't take hazardous waste (paint, chemicals, motor oil, pesticides), liquids, propane tanks, ammunition, medical waste, or refrigerators and AC units with unsealed freon lines. If you're not sure, just call and ask — we'd rather tell you up-front than show up and have to leave it.
- Do I need to be home?
- Not necessarily. If the items are curbside, on a porch, or in a garage we can access, just leave a note describing what's going. For inside-the-house pickups we ask that someone 18+ be there to point us at the items.
- Do you serve FSU and FAMU students?
- Yes — we specialize in it. Call us 24 hours before you hand the keys back and we'll empty the apartment: couch, mini fridge, mattress, milk crates, the broken IKEA shelf, all of it. Saves your security deposit and you don't pay a thing.
- What areas do you cover?
- All of Leon County, FL — Tallahassee, FSU/FAMU campus areas, College Town, Midtown, Frenchtown, Southwood, Killearn, Betton Hills, Lafayette Park, and the surrounding neighborhoods. If you're farther out, call us anyway — we'll usually still come if the load is worth the trip.
