The two busy windows: late April and early August
Most FSU and FAMU off-campus leases turn over in late April (spring/summer move-outs) and again in late July through mid-August (fall move-in). During those windows we book solid — sometimes a week or more out. Same goes for College Town apartment complexes that have synchronized lease end dates.
Book early. Even a tentative date is fine — we can flex by a day or two within your move-out window. What we can't do is fit you in the day before keys go back when our trucks are already booked.

College move-out FAQ
Common questions from FSU, FAMU, and TCC students. Or just call us — we'll talk through your situation.
- How early should I book my move-out pickup?
- As soon as you know your lease end date. We get slammed in late April (FSU spring lease end) and again in early-to-mid August (fall lease turnover). A week or two ahead is great; the closer to move-out day you call, the more likely you are to get a window that doesn't perfectly align with when the leasing office wants you out.
- Will you pick up from a 4-bedroom apartment with multiple sets of stuff?
- Yes — that's actually our specialty during move-out season. Most College Town / Glen at FSU / Stadium Centre / Standard at Tallahassee apartments are 4-bedroom, and we send a truck and crew sized for the full unit. We can handle four mattresses, four desks, a sectional, and the kitchen full of dishes in a single visit.
- Do I need to carry anything to the curb?
- No. We come into the apartment and bring everything out ourselves. You point, we lift. If you live in a third-floor walk-up, just let us know when you book so we send the right size crew.
- What about the deposit — will the leasing office charge me for leaving stuff?
- That's exactly the situation we exist to prevent. Apartment complexes around FSU, FAMU, and TCC routinely charge $50–$200 PER ITEM for furniture/appliance removal at lease end. Call us a day before keys go back, we empty the unit, you walk through clean.
- I have roommates moving out at different dates — can I book separate pickups?
- Yes. We can do one room at a time, multiple stops at the same apartment over a week, or whatever you need. Just call as the dates firm up.
- Can you take stuff I want to ship home next semester?
- We're a pickup and disposal service, not a storage company. For storage between semesters, look at companies like College Box, Dorm Room Movers, or a local self-storage facility. We handle the stuff you DON'T want anymore.
- What if I'm not in town on the move-out date?
- Common situation for international students or students whose parents are doing the move. Schedule us, leave a key under a mat or with a roommate, and we'll handle it. Send a photo or video walkthrough of what needs to go so there's no confusion. We'll text you when the job is done.
- Do you work with FSU, FAMU, or TCC directly through housing programs?
- Informally. We're a known quantity to a lot of the off-campus apartment complexes around all three campuses. We're not contracted to the university housing departments — those usually go through their own dumpster process. We work with individual student renters in private apartments.
